Winter (October to March) is the best season for exploring MP as per tourist points of view.

During winter, the days are pleasant and balmy with the temperature hovering between 20°C and 27°C. The nights get chilly though, and the mercury level drops to as low as 5°C.

It is, therefore, the best time to visit Madhya Pradesh to explore cities like Bhopal, Indore, and Gwalior which house some of the most important tourist attractions in the state. Exploring the nature reserves/ national parks/ sanctuaries, observing flora and fauna and going on heritage tours, river rafting, hot-air ballooning and shopping are quite preferred in this season.
