Goa has a lot to offer the beer, the beaches, water sports and those late night parties. There are certain things that you can’t or shouldn’t do here.
Here’s a list of the things NOT to do in Goa while you are chilling in this beautiful city.
- Decide whether to travel in peak season or off season.
The best time to visit Goa is in November and between February to May when temperatures are between 20°C to 33°C. This avoids the monsoon and the peak tourist season of December-January, so beaches are empty and deals can be found for airfares and rooms also.
- Clothes
If you planning to travel in summer, pack cool cotton clothes and shorts. Even if you plan to travel during winters, carry lightweight clothing. Don’t forget flip-flops a straw hat and sunscreen.
- Proper ID Proofs {For both Indian & Foreigners}.
- Visa {if you are foreigners}.
- Do keep a neck pillow, sunglasses, ear plugs, eye mask, headphones and battery chargers.
- Driving Licence { If you want to hire Bike or Car for visiting purpose }
- Keep changes for local use
- Book your Hotel in advance
- Pre decided to stay in between North Goa and South Goa
Goa is divided into two parts that are South Goa and North Goa. The North Goa is for party lovers as it offers clubbing experiences to the tourist from all across the world, whereas South Goa is loaded with tranquillity. Also, there are multiple beaches in both South and North, all are not all same. The South Goa beaches like Majorda, Colva, Palolem, Varca and Cavelossim are peaceful as compared to North Goa beaches. So, pick your place as per your choice.
