How to Reach Goa


By Air

Goa is well connected by airline services to most major cities in India. All flights operate from Goa Airport at Dabolim near the port town of Vasco – da – Gama. The airport is about 30 Kms from the capital city of Panaji and is owned by Indian Navy. Goa Airport is an International Airport which operates some few international flights, especially from the Gulf Countries. All major airline operators such as Air India, Jet Airways, Spice Jet, Go Air and Indigo have flights for Goa from all major cities.

By Rail

Via railways, it is quite easy to reach Goa as the major railway stations in Goa are located in Margao. The main railway station is known as Madgaon and Vasco-da-gama. These railway stations are well linked with Mumbai, Delhi as well as down south to Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala.

By Road

Goa is connected with all the major towns in India via the National Highways NH4A, NH17 and NH17A.

Goa has very good bus services which operating from Goa to most towns and cities in neighbouring states, such as Mumbai, Pune, Belgaum, Hubli, Bangalore, Mangalore etc. at fairly regular intervals throughout the day.

Kadamba Transport Corporation is state owned. Besides that you will get numerous private bus operators who provide from special to Deluxe AC to sleeper coaches along these routes. If you drive from Mumbai via car or bus , the highway hugs the Konkan coastline with excellent scenic beauty and typical small towns and villages en- route.
